This past weekend, I traveled to Baltimore for a Tate McRae concert. We arrived a few days early and spent the entire Saturday exploring the city.
Highlights

Inner Harbor serves as a center for sightseeing, featuring the Maryland Science Center with its planetarium and observatory, as well as the National Aquarium. The Top of the World Observation Level provides expansive views of the city, and a variety of historic warships are moored below.
On a day as lovely as the one we experienced, it's truly worthwhile to take a walk along the sidewalks.

Fells Point is famous for its trendy pubs and taverns, many featuring live music, along with seafood spots offering Chesapeake Bay crab and oysters. The cobblestone streets by the harbor and main square are lined with small galleries, record shops, fashion boutiques, and diverse restaurants.
We had an incredible time walking through the streets, visiting all the shops, and savoring the atmosphere.

Baltimore National Aquarium is a renowned nonprofit aquarium situated in the city’s Inner Harbor. It is home to approximately 20,000 animals from over 750 species and features iconic exhibits such as the Atlantic Coral Reef, Shark Alley, Blacktip Reef, a rainforest under glass, and Dolphin Discovery. As Maryland’s most popular paid attraction, it is consistently ranked among the top aquariums in the U.S. In addition to being a visitor destination, the aquarium is committed to conservation, animal rescue, habitat restoration, and education, and has recently introduced a free outdoor Harbor Wetlands exhibit.

Spin Scooters are vibrant orange electric scooters available for rent via an app, easily accessible throughout Baltimore. They offer a fast, simple, and enjoyable way to navigate the city, bypassing traffic and parking hassles. Whether you're heading to work, doing errands, or simply exploring downtown or the waterfront, these scooters provide a convenient and thrilling way to travel while experiencing the city from a fresh viewpoint.
We had an amazing time exploring the city on these!
Be Aware
Baltimore is a vibrant city with so much culture, history, and charm, but like many major cities, it also has areas where it’s best to stay alert. Some neighborhoods can feel a bit sketchy, especially if you’re unfamiliar with them, so it’s smart to stick to well-traveled areas, be mindful at night, and keep an eye on your belongings. As long as you stay aware and use good judgment, you’ll be able to fully enjoy the city’s highlights without worry.
xoxo
